Who is this product for?
These are training gloves with a hook-and-loop closure, which means you can fasten and release them on your own between rounds. That is the practical reason most gym sessions run on strap gloves rather than laced ones.
One pair covers bag work, pad rounds and sparring for most people, provided the weight is chosen correctly. If you want the closure that wraps the wrist more evenly, the laced model is the same design programme with laces in place of the strap.
Glove weight should be chosen from your activity, body weight and your gym or coach's requirements. Many gyms set a minimum weight for sparring, and that rule takes priority over any general recommendation.
Materials and construction
The material options available for this product, and any price difference between them, are listed in the customizer under Size & Material before you add the design to your cart.
Material availability is set per product rather than across the whole range, so the options shown on this product are the ones that apply to it.
Outer material specification, padding construction and lining material have not been published for this model. If one of these matters to your decision, contact the team before ordering rather than relying on a general description.

Customization options
Eight panels are coloured independently, and each one also takes its own finish. Colour and text are included in the product price; uploaded images, symbols and matte or metallic finishes are add-ons whose cost appears in the running total as you add them.
- Colour: inner palm, outer palm, inner thumb, outer thumb, fingers, wrist, strap and outline, set separately.
- Finish: normal, matte or metallic, chosen per zone.
- Text: any of the printable areas, with its own font, colour, size, position and rotation.
- Images: PNG or JPG up to 5 MB, placed on the outer palm, outer thumb or wrist.
- Symbols: a built-in library, positioned and scaled on the printable areas.
Files wider or taller than 2048 px are resized during upload and files over 1 MB are compressed, so artwork prepared close to those limits gives the most predictable print.
How to choose the right option
- Decide whether you will spar. If yes, most gyms expect 16 oz.
- If you will only hit bags and pads, 12 oz is the common choice.
- Check your gym's minimum sparring weight before ordering - it overrides any chart.
- Size the glove around the hand wraps you actually train in, not a bare hand.
- Choose the closure: hook-and-loop for training, laced for a more even wrist wrap.
- Build the design, then rotate the 3D model and check every zone before adding to cart.
The 3D preview is a representation of your design, not a photograph of the finished product. Screen colours vary between devices, and material texture and stitching will not render exactly as produced. Use it to confirm layout, placement and spelling.
Care instructions
Wipe the gloves after every session and let them dry completely in a ventilated area. Do not machine-wash them, do not soak them, and do not dry them on a radiator or with a hairdryer.
- Open the wrist closure fully.
- Wipe away surface moisture, inside and out.
- Air-dry away from direct heat until the lining is dry throughout.
- Wash hand wraps separately after every session.
- Store the gloves only when fully dry.
Cleaning products beyond water and a mild soap have not been confirmed as safe for this product's materials. Check with the team before using a specific spray or cleaner.
Production and delivery
Nothing is held in stock. Each pair is made to the design you submit, and production begins once your order is confirmed. The design can still be changed within 24 hours of ordering; after that, production has started and the specification is locked.
KCG Boxing ships internationally. Delivery cost and time depend on the destination. Customs duties and import taxes on international orders are the customer's responsibility unless stated otherwise.

Frequently asked questions
Which weight should I order?
12 oz for general training and bag work, 14 oz or 16 oz for sparring. If you are buying one pair to cover everything, 16 oz is the most widely accepted choice because it satisfies most gym sparring minimums and still works on a bag.
Confirm your gym's requirement before ordering. A custom pair cannot be exchanged because the weight turned out to be wrong for your club's rules.
Should I choose the strap or the laced model?
Choose the strap model for training. A hook-and-loop closure can be fastened and released without help, which matters when you change gloves several times in a session.
The laced model wraps the wrist more evenly and is the traditional competition closure in boxing, but it needs a second person to tie.
Can I use these in competition?
Check with your federation, promoter or coach first. Competition equipment rules are set by the sanctioning body, and no competition approval has been published for this model.
Treat these as training and sparring gloves unless an event organiser confirms otherwise.
Can I return a custom pair?
Custom gloves are made to your design, so they cannot normally be returned or exchanged for a change of mind, a size choice or a design decision. A production defect or an error on our side is covered.
Check the weight and the spelling of any text before confirming. You have 24 hours after ordering to change either.
