Who is this product for?

Boxing and stand-up training. The long, wide cut is deliberate: boxing is built on footwork, and the hips and knees have to move without the hem pulling.

For Muay Thai you want the shorter, much wider cut that lets the knee travel fully. For grappling you want the close MMA cut with nothing loose to grab.

Materials and construction

Three panels are produced as separate design areas: the body, a side accent panel and the waistband.

Fabric composition and fabric weight have not been published for this product. Contact the team if a specific property matters.

Available sizes

XS to XXL, sized on your waist measurement in centimetres.

Shorts measurements
SizeWaist (relaxed)Waist (stretched)LengthLeg opening

M75 cm95 cm42 cm32 cm
L80 cm100 cm44 cm34 cm
XL85 cm105 cm46 cm36 cm
XXL90 cm110 cm48 cm-

Match your waist measurement to the relaxed figure; the stretched figure is how far the waistband gives, not a size to aim for. XS is available to order but has no published measurements yet - contact the team for them.

Between two sizes, take the larger one and use the drawstring to take up the slack.

Customization options

Three zones, each with its own colour and its own finish. That is a deliberately simple canvas: a solid body with a contrasting waistband and a side stripe is the classic boxing short, and three zones is what it takes to build it.

  • Colour: body, side accent and waistband, set separately.
  • Finish: normal, matte or metallic, chosen per zone.

Printed text and artwork are not currently offered on this product. Muay Thai shorts include a dedicated front name patch, and MMA shorts print on the front and back.

How to choose the right option

  1. Measure your waist at its narrowest point above the hip bone.
  2. Match it to the relaxed waist figure and round up if you are between sizes.
  3. Choose a base colour, then contrast the waistband and the side accent.
  4. Check the design in the 3D preview before adding to cart.

The size is fixed at checkout and the shorts are cut after you order, so measure before confirming.

Care instructions

Wash cold, inside out, with no fabric softener. Hang to dry, and keep them out of the tumble dryer.

Specific detergents, sprays and cleaning products have not been confirmed as safe for this product. Check with the team before using anything beyond a cold wash.

Production and delivery

Nothing is held in stock. Each pair is cut, printed and assembled to the design you submit, and production begins once your order is confirmed. The design and size can be changed within 24 hours of ordering; after that, production has started and the specification is locked.

KCG Boxing ships internationally. Delivery cost and time depend on the destination. Customs duties and import taxes on international orders are the customer's responsibility unless stated otherwise.

Frequently asked questions

How should boxing shorts fit?

At the natural waist, loose through the leg, and long enough to sit around the knee. The generous cut is intentional - footwork and a high guard both need the hips free.

Size by your waist measurement in centimetres rather than by your usual clothing size.

What is the difference between these and Muay Thai shorts?

Boxing shorts are longer, reaching around the knee, with a moderately wide leg. Muay Thai shorts are much shorter and far wider at the opening, so the knee can travel all the way up without the hem catching.

Choose from what your training involves rather than from appearance.

Can I put my name on boxing shorts?

Not on this product at present - the customizer offers colour on three zones and no printed text or artwork.

Muay Thai shorts include a dedicated front name patch, and MMA shorts print on the front and back.
